Fortune Technology Corporation Ltd (Fortune) offers a 6 month return to base warranty on all Fortune Manufactured products purchased for manufacturing defects. This warranty does not apply to consumables, damage (malicious or accidental), fair wear and tear servicing, and damage due to acts of god, power surges or operational negligence.
Fortune accepts no liability or responsibility for failures of non-Fortune manufactured third party product hardware and/or software
Warranty on non-Fortune Manufactured Third party manufactured products will be for the warranty period terms and conditions offered for that product by the manufacturer.
Fortune offers a "return to base" warranty and therefore all costs for the removal, installation and shipping costs of any warranty repairs are the responsibility of the Customer.
A "one for one" parts exchange service is applicable for parts that fail or fault during the warranty period.
Fortune reserves the option right to determine if any faulty parts are exchanged "one for one" or if the faulty part is repaired.
Faulty parts that are returned to Fortune for repair during or after the warranty period are to be repaired (if possible) and returned to the Customer within a thirty (30) day period. If faulty parts cannot be repaired Fortune will provide the equivalent condition replacement part to the Customer or a substitute part at Fortune’s discretion.
Fortune will supply free technical support to the Customer during the product warranty period.
If Fortune elects to provide a replacement part to the Customer and the faulty part can be repaired the original repaired faulty part will be reinstated into the product and the replacement part provided shall be returned to Fortune. All costs associated with the repair of these parts are the responsibility of the Customer (unless under warranty).
All product/system/parts warranty will be voided if any product/system/parts is modified in any way or moved to another location unless the Customer engages Fortune technicians/representatives to complete this process. Costs associated with product/system/parts modification/movements are billable to the Customer.
All product/system/parts warranty will be voided if any unauthorised repair, modification, amendment, addition or tampering with the product/system/parts occurs.
The Customer must provide broadband internet connectivity to all systems to facilitate future system maintenance, system support, remote system training, software updates, software upgrades, and staff technical support as required. The broadband connection is required for remote servicing, including warranty servicing. If the Customer does not provide a broadband connection the Customer will be billed for any warranty or support servicing that could have been done remotely. This will be billed on a time/resource basis.
All goods/products/systems supplied to the Customer remain the property of Fortune Technology Corporation Ltd and the ownership of all of these goods/products/system is not transferred to the Customer until payment of the full invoice value has been received by Fortune.
A full staff training program on all systems will be done in conjunction with the system installation program.
